On 2 March, Barcelona lost to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu by a score of 2-1. This was Barcelona’s second loss against Real Madrid in a week. Bernabéu, himself a veteran of the Civil War who fought for Franco’s forces, saw Real Madrid on top not only of Spanish but also European football, helping create the European Cup, the first true competition for Europe’s best club sides. Former technical director Pep Segura attributes the club’s success to its “philosophy of play”: “It is about creating one philosophy, one mentality, from the bottom of the club to the top”. You’re not too far from the main attractions in the Gothic Quarter or Eixample, alquiler equipo dj barcelona but you can be right on one of several beaches. Besides the Picasso museum the most popular museums are the Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya in the Palau Nacional, the Fundacio Joan Miró and the science museum Cosmo Caixa. This is also home to a great arts scene plus a contemporary art museum and a harbor where you can find medieval boat replicas. The museum of Pablo Picasso is located in the district La Ribera. The 14th century Basilica di Santa María del Mar is located in the district of La Ribera. If you rather visit a quieter market, you may want to check out the Santa Caterina Market, Mercat del Ninot, Sant Antoni Market, or one of the other 19th century indoor markets in Barcelona. In June 1792 the French astronomers Jean Baptiste Joseph Delambre and Pierre François André Méchain set out to measure the meridian arc distance from Dunkirk to Barcelona, two cities lying on approximately the same longitude as each other and also the longitude through Paris.
Next to the El Born district, in the center of Barcelona, is the beautiful city park of the World Exhibition of 1888. In the Ciutadella Park you will find tourist attractions like the Font de Cascada (photo), the Zoo, the Castell dels Tres Dragons and via a beautiful boulevard you reach the Arc de Triomf, the old entrance gate to the park. Prepare your Barcelona city trip carefully; the hotels are popular and tourist attractions such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell have long queues and are often sold out. Here’s where you can rent bikes in Barcelona, and what to know before you set out. Mercat de la Boqueria is a great place to visit in Barcelona, but it can get really busy. Enjoy the visit of the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, Camp Nou, the most beautiful concert hall in the world Palau de la Musica Catalana or Casa Mila, one of the wonders of artist Antoni Gaudí. Park Guell is the famous park with mosaic benches and the salamander. This is the highest gap (520 m) in Barcelona and one of the best places to watch the sunset in Barcelona.
Airfares and temperatures are at their highest from July to August, and it’s almost impossible to find good deals. However, only a limited number of visitors are admitted every hour. Number 1. La Sagrada Familia temple. Roma may override this re-purchase at this time by paying the club an additional €28 million. Founded on 24 August 1926, the club entered its first competition in 1927, playing in the Campionat de Catalunya de Basquetbol (Catalan Basketball Championship).
